I live and work on Aboriginal land. It has been stolen under the assumption that so-called Australia was "Terra Nullius" (Uninhabited) which is a false narrative. In the act of colonisation, there have been numerous massacres, the spread of disease, displacement on a grand scale and ongoing severe social marginalization. I use the infrastructure of this society, I continue to benefit from this. I believe that acknowledgment is one of many steps towards unity and healing.
